1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Finance Builder AI platform and website, operated by CONSTRUCTION BUILDERS CLEAN LTD ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales (Companies House No. 12828036), address: 15 Fallow Walk, Birmingham, West Midlands, B32 3UB.

By registering for an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Finance Builder AI. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The platform is intended for use by individuals resident in the United Kingdom.

3. The service

Finance Builder AI is an AI-powered personal finance analysis tool. It analyses spending data you provide, generates expense reports, and offers AI-generated observations and recommendations. The service is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute regulated financial advice and is not a substitute for professional financial guidance.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated categorisations, scores, or recommendations. Results depend on the accuracy and completeness of data you provide. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it.

4. Account registration and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at [email protected]. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised account access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials.

5. Subscription plans and billing

Finance Builder AI offers a Free plan, a Pro monthly plan (£9.99/month), and an Annual plan (£89/year). All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. Subscription billing is handled by our payment provider. By providing payment details, you authorise us to charge the applicable subscription fee on the billing cycle you select.

Prices are inclusive of applicable UK VAT. We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice to registered users. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Free trial

The 7-day free trial does not require payment details. If you choose to add payment details during or after the trial, billing begins after the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time before the trial expires without charge.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Monthly plan: you may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the period already paid.

Annual plan: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided less than 10% of plan features have been used. To request a refund, contact [email protected]. See our Refund Policy for full details.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Finance Builder AI to:

  • Upload data that belongs to another person without their consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the platform's algorithms or source code
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the platform without our written consent

9. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By using the service, you consent to data processing as described in that policy.

You retain ownership of the data you upload. By uploading data, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the service. We do not use your financial data for any other purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CONSTRUCTION BUILDERS CLEAN LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, Finance Builder AI. Our total liability for direct losses arising from any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We aim for platform availability of 99.5% on a monthly basis, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes that affect paid subscribers.

12. Intellectual property

All content, software, and algorithms on the Finance Builder AI platform are the intellectual property of CONSTRUCTION BUILDERS CLEAN LTD or its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to copy, modify, or distribute platform content or software beyond what is necessary to use the service as intended.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where statutory consumer rights provide for alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. The version date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
